Wellington UniVentures – Digital Annual Report

Brief
Wellington UniVentures wanted their 2021 Impact Report to reflect the innovative nature of their organisation, and to do this, they asked us to take the report online. 

The digital report needed to present the year’s successes and financial information in a clear and consise way, and show the growth and new opportunities made possible by Wellington UniVentures.

Approach
We took the existing elements developed for the UniVentures brand and used them in a new way, creating an engaging online experience for the user.

Taking the idea that all of Wellington UniVentures is connected – each new project supports and influences work to follow, which leads to more growth and opportunities – we created a modular system for the report that linked and stacked the sections and content together. To highlight how Wellington UniVentures is constantly growing and uncovering new opportunities, and always moving, thinking, creating action and momentum, we added moments of subtle animation throughout the report, so the report, like Wellington UniVentures is never still.

Results
The result is a fun yet impactful online report that breaks down the huge scope of work done by Wellington UniVentures into bite-sized digestible chunks, letting the reader explore at their own pace and gain a deeper understanding of Wellington UniVentures and the value they bring to Aotearoa New Zealand. 

A limited colour palette, a mix of text, animated graphic elements and photography with plenty of space for the content to breathe brings it all together.
