A brand that needs no introduction

Brief
When Jack Hodder QC decided to establish his own practice, his standing in the legal profession was already well known among his peers and his client base. Our job therefore wasn’t to raise his profile – it was to get the message about his new venture out there as quickly and as visibly as possible.

Approach
Given Jack’s profile it made sense to us to put him absolutely at the centre of his brand. This was achieved through bold photography of Jack himself, a simple, minimalist visual concept and a colour palette centred around gold – to reflect a man at the peak of his profession.

Outcome
When Jack’s brand advertising hit it caused quite a sensation – there was much discussion about Jack’s new role, and the bold approach to promoting it. We wanted to create a brand that would make a statement – and it most certainly did.
